Thanks for the Grandpatella!!

Before I begin I'd like to THANK DARREN  for sending me the 5kg Nutella bucket :D It's giant torso totally over towers the nutella we have at home. It's like the grandpa version of the Australian Nutella xD

"When I grow up, I want to be 5kg just like you grandpa!"

It's so adorable xD We can't even fit the nutella in our pantry. But that's alright. We'll find a way.
Also thanks for the giant marshmallows! You know what that means!!! CHUBBY BUNNY!!!

It's bigger than my head!! Which is saying something because I have a pretty big head =D

It's also about a third of my sister's height o_O

Guess what I'll be having for every breakfast? NUTELLA!!

Hair Knowledge, Hair Care

So lately I've been chatting with this family friend who works as a hair stylist in Shanghai and she gave me a crash course...well not really a crash course...but some tips on dying or bleaching your hair. Including the amount of care needed to maintain them.

So I thought it would be cool to make a post about it =D
I have horrible horrible split (and dry) ends and it's good to know that I don't have to trim to get rid of them =D

1. The last 10~15cm of your hair needs the most care/conditioning when you wash your hair (especially for dyed/bleached hair). If possible, apply twice the amount of conditioner you use on your scalp for this portion of your hair. Because the nutrients travel from your scalp into your hair and the longer your hair is, the more unhealthy the tips of your hair will be (due to lack of nutrients).

Omg so cliche >_>
And why am I always wearing the Pout LOL...I think it's a natural reflex. I smile...and then when the camera clicks, my face turns into this face. Like Barney from How I Met Your Mother. That one episode where Robin tried to take unexpected photos of Barney but he's always doing the same suit pose.

Therefore, everytime you wash your hair, remember:
1) Apply conditioner generously throughout the last 15cm. Leave for approx. 2min (or longer if possible)
2) When drying this portion of your hair, pat your towel tenderly along its length to absorb the moisture. DO NOT dry it in a rough manner (by rough I mean rubbing it, twisting it in anyway) or it will cause more damage to the already lifeless hair parts.
3) Apply hair mask regularly.
4) When you brush your hair, try not to pull the brush/comb when it reaches the tip of your hair (causing more breakage).

2. For those who try to bleach their hair blonde. To avoid the unattractive yellow/brassy pigments in your hair, you MUST use HAIR TONER. For those who decide to bleach their hair, you must ALWAYS use a toner to neutrolise the unwanted yellow/orange pigments in your hair.

An example of nicely toned hair. And in my opinion, a really nice blonde colour.
Basically, toning your hair makes the colour more even...and less tangy

And if you're going to go blonde...at least go for this blonde. Some people's hair turn bright yellow and very few people (asians) can pull it off. I guess the lady in the picture doesn't look too bad...I've seen worse.

3. Washing your hair too much actually kills the sheen and colour.
But WHO WANTS TO WASH THEIR HAIR ONCE/TWICE A WEEK?! Personally I wash my hair 4 times a week...basically every other day (and even so, I feel uncomfortable). But if I wash them EVERYDAY, it's going to kill my hair faster. So I MUST HOLD ON :(

Yeah, that's above it LOL...I'm lazy :(
I shall now go and enjoy my comfortable bed and take a nap xD I'm grateful it's not quite so hot today.
Also, I bought new stuff for uni...new bag...new wallet.
REJOICE.

Extra stuff...
ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP WITH MAKEUP REMOVER FIRST!!
Then wash your face with face wash.
If you don't remove the make up properly with make-up remover, your skin ages SUPER fast and it also loses its natural shine.
Don't be a cheap hobo and go buy a proper make up remover >:O

Signing out now!
Bye bye.

Tennis like Australian Open

Alright, so we weren't as good as the actual Australian Open players...okay we're not as good as most tennis players but it was at least, a fun day. The first really disadvantaging thing that day was the hot weather and the sweat and pain if brought us. Luckily, there was a shed to each court where we can sit, cool-down and chat.

Alright, maybe I'm using this picture in the wrong context...keep reading to see how this image fits in with the rest of our crazy day!!

Basically, the day started with William picking me up from Bevo...YES CAR AIR CONDITIONING!! We later picked up Linda and William's friend Raymond from Kogarah station. Delia (who wanted more hours on her driving log) drove to the venue herself...and Annie took the bus.

Look! There's my half-finished blueberry muffin!!

Alright...let's cut to the chase. Pictures!!

Delia and Linda, chilling inside the shed.
I reckon the inside of the shed is AT LEAST 10 degrees cooler than on the courts. Just saying.

Delia going gaga over the little tennis ball hairs stuck on her racket
Okay, maybe that was me...but nevermind, it suits this picture!!

Basically what happened before we got onto the courts was for me to pick a racket out of the spares that William and Linda brought. I noticed (for some reason) that there were little green hairs stuck in between the wire things on the rackets and EVERY RACKET HAD THEM!! How furry.
So I decided to pick the least furry racket (because fur is bad). We spent a couple of minutes counting the fur. But yeah...ACTION PICS!!

courtesy to me while sitting on the Empire chair

Annie celebrates her victory!

Delia looks more like she's dancing than playing tennis :D

High five!

LOL Delia's happy dance.

A little blurred with a little face distortion but look at my gaze of concentration!

Linda looks concentrated too!

LOL AT DELIA SALUTING!!

That's when I realised I had the same phone as William. But I reckon pink looks much better ;D

Annie's putting her GAME ON

My domo bag consuming Delia's arm

Our Maccas Trays
We all thought it was ironic how we consume junk food after exercising...apparently its bad to eat stuff like this after you exercise because you gain more weight. BUT WE WERE SUPER HUNGRY!

After satisfying our appetites, we started playing around with chips...and we marveled at how Linda really looks like she's holding a cigarette...

And then things started getting out of hand...LOL

Annie was the most pro g of us all LOL

I look more like a hobo than a junkie though LOL...scratch that. I look like a hermit.

Look at how many chips we wasted AHAHA

So I go for the ninja look instead. I have another photo of me with my head covered up and Annie said I looked like SH...

Delia kept trying to call up her mum to pick her up. I think she got scared of our high-ness.

On our way back to Linda's house, I tried to take luvos. But a freakish wind came along and made me look bald LOOOOL.

We passed by some graffiti and Annie ceased this chance for another G pose.

And we all posed. We had to get rid of our Cha Time cups so we wouldn't look asian XD
I put this picture through a filter and I reckon this effect is totally what we were looking for.

And at Linda's house, we watched videos on her laptop and I changed into some comfortable clothes. All in all, it was a fabulous day. I saw the emergence of gangster Annie and now respect her in more than one way.

Here's a few things I noted today:
1) Wear proper jogging shoes when playing tennis...i.e Nike
2) Wear socks...>_>
3) Hot pink is NOT my colour
4) Shorts are better than tights because it keeps you COOLER
5) Powerade = LOVE

And to finish off this post (and to lead on to the next one) here's a picture of me with my fringe clipped up, ready to wash my face.

Yes...flash always make my blemishes look non-existent hehe.

My next post shall be a before and after :D taken with my mum's new camera..>_> (I got the old one).

Food Heaven

Okay, I just had to make another post about Diamonds for Dessert...I was browsing through her blog and her collection of baked goods is by far one of the most fascinating I've come across so far.
So therefore I have to blog about it.
As you know, I blogged about the Domo biscuits earlier. Here a few more creations I found on her blog that I found appealing. Check out her blog for more.

These are just ADORABLE. How can you even eat the poor dear? Where would you start? The head? The tail? No way!

Yes, it's the Gingy from Shrek. Once again...too cute to eat or what?!

So colourful :D Such vibrant shades...

<3 to death

These baked treats are seriously too creative to consume. I beg you all to check them out...and attempt to make them...then offer them to me :D seeing as I'm a terrible baker...

Remember the burnt gingerbread men I baked? HAHAH...>_>
