In Search of Leona's Hair

My evil stepmother look LOOOOOOL
All that's missing is a mole. Feel free to insert yourselves in your spare time.

So on Thursday, Leona (from THE DAILY LEONA) and I went to Market City to look for something she wanted for a very long time. Something personal and something that will make her very happy for the rest of the day...HAIR EXTENSIONS!!
We met up at Central around 11:30ish because both of us were a bit late (I was more late than her ><). Some shifty old guy wearing a red shirt was allegedly trying to approach (edge closer to) Leona so we hurried off without talking.
The first thing we did was shop around Paddy's Market for those hair extension shops. We entered two and they both looked the same. In the end, we settled with black wavy hair extensions.

Leona showing off her new body part.
It was so cute watching her feel up her hair. Twirling it, brushing it and telling me all the things she's gonna do now that she's got super long lush hair ;D

Satisfied with our purchase, we ventured off to Poporo. I won't post many pictures of the food since you can find them on Leona's blog (I thought I should leave it to the pro).
There is something I wanted to say though. I ordered ice coffee and it had an ice cream float on it. It was so full it started spilling when I touched the straw...

This is only a minor spillage. It started spilling more when I moved it ><

We had a nice long talk and then left for Capitol Square (FOR CAPS!!). Leona finally embraced the fob within her to do poses with me >:D
Once again, I won't bother posting the caps photos since Leona said she'll post them on her blog. Check them out over there when she uploads them 8D!!
We even made use of the fabulous FREE lighting in the booths to take our own camwhoring photos.

Great lighting RIGHT?!

We did have our fail attempts at taking photos OF the screen of us...if that makes sense...>_<

In the end, Leona helped me take a photo of me...under the beautiful lighting =D
I really, really like white backgrounds x]

Anyways, after caps, I succumbed to the call of the crane machine =D and I GOT ONE ON MY FIRST GOOOO!!!! Leona and I were so excited. I tried to get more so that our turtle can have a friend...but...*sigh of disappointment*

Freedom is nothing...when you have to be alone.

I felt guilty so I gave it to Leona to care for =D I know she'll treat it right. We ended up getting a female turtle our own way ;D
So it was all good.
That's that =D a brilliant day. Thanks for all the fun x]

Korean Dramas In My Tummy

To be completely honest, apart from my part time jobs, the only thing I've been doing is watching dramas. I have a special source where I buy them (yes I know I can watch them online...but I don't have the bandwidth or speed. Plus I find it tedious, loading it all the time).

Mary Stayed Out All Night
매리는 외박중

I love this drama. I think I pulled an all-nighter watching this show. Mary Stayed Out All Night is basically about:

Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

Yes, I can't be bothered forming my own synopsis so I copy and pasted from Dramawiki. This show's got one of my favourite stars in it...Moon Geun Young (from Cinderella's Sister) and Jang Geun Suk (from You're Beautiful, Beethoven Virus and Hong Gil Dong). Speaking of Jang Geun Suk...here's a small rant about his hair...
THE EVOLUTION OF JANG GEUN SUK'S HAIR
Jang Geun Suk has one of the girliest faces I've ever seen but I like it. Personally I feel that he looks better in Beethoven Virus (short spiky hair) than he did in You're Beautiful (floppy hair). But I guess long hair looks good on him too. Let's compare...

Jang in Mary Stayed Out All Night with NO FRINGE

Jang in Hong Gil Dong with fringe

Jang in You're Beautiful with his short hair thingo...

Jang in Beethoven Virus with short short prison cut.

To me, he looks much better...WITH A FRINGE and with long hair. But that's just my personal preference. Actually, he looks nice with short hair too...but it depends on how he styles it.

This looks good =D

But I like the moody broody Jang better =D

The End
Time to shower...

Chinese New Years

Yes, that's right! It's THAT time of the season again!! And this time, I got so so so many red envelopes the ones in the picture just don't cut it (I got more now).
It's finally...the Year of the Rabbit :D
Okay..no more talking. More photos =D

We went to New Years Eve dinner with Kevin's family at Bevo. It was super hot and the restaurant was SUPER crowded. I JUST got back from work that day so I was tired.

Mwhaha. Sneak shot.

And again LOOOOL
Alright, so basically we had an uber delicious dinner.

We had to leave at 8 because there was apparently another batch of people coming in who booked our table O_O
Chinese New Years is a super busy time for restaurants.

When we got home, I just jumped into my PJs and posed while lying down. I was THAT tired.
Excuse the awkward smile >_> all the fat on my face was rolling to the back of my head so my dimples won't show =( Actually...HAHAHA I DONT WANT THEM TO SHOW that's why I never smile.
They make my cheeks look chubby lol >_>

Yes, I have hong bao, jealous?

And then begins this weird cosmetic thing...

Yes, I haz pink luscious lips.
>_>

OKAY NEXT DAY...
CHINESE NEW YEARS!!!
We head off to Nan Tian Temple to pray and burn incense for the buddhas =D
It's super hot >_>

I haz plump, juicy, oily lips LOL
Too much lip gloss

This is my MEGA SOUR WARHEAD look. Can't really make my lips look like a X like the cartoon on the cover but ah well. Good try.

It was a tranquil ride to Wollongong.
Partially also because there was air con in the car =D

And we arrive!!!

The first thing we saw were these beautiful lilies. Absolutely stunning!

Thus we had to take photos =D
Luvoo

Taken by mum :D

Grandma and I :D

The beautiful Nan Tian Temple =D

The large incense holder pot thing

So that's about it =)
I bought a good fortune ring for ten dollars and I donated up to $20
We saw a gallery where someone engraved a sutra/pictures on minuscule pieces of eggshells and HUMAN HAIR!!! It was so cool.

Well, may the Year of the Rabbit bring you prosperity, good health and good fortune =D

Let's start! On a road to a fresh new beginning =D
